Sea Turtle Science
When: March 16 - 17
Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM daily
Grades: students in grades 1-3
Cost: $100 (Includes a goody bag)
Description: Strap on your flippers and get ready to discover life as a sea turtle during our mini-camp. Learn how lighting, marine debris, and beach furniture effect sea turtle nesting habits. Participate in sea turtle relays and explore the Sound. Discover what a sea turtle's favorite food is and become a turtle vet to solve the mystery of an injured turtle.
Your child will need to bring sun block, a snack (no peanut products, please), drink and water bottle, water shoes (or old tennis shoes - something that can be worn in the water), beach towel, and a change of clothes.

Description: Local, non-local, and extinct sharks; learn about their feeding habits, where they live, how powerful they are, and why you don't need to be afraid of them! Includes a shark dissection and field explorations.
